Privacy notice

1. Who we are

This data is collected by the 1000 Salama founding team. The company is currently being registered in Egypt, and we will update this notice with its name and full details as soon as registration is complete.

2. What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect:

• Your role: patient, doctor or clinic assistant
• Your name and mobile number
• Your city (optional)
• Your specialty, for doctors (optional)
• The language of the page you signed up from
• A record of your consent: the consent wording and the date and time you signed up

We do not ask for any information about your health, and we ask you not to include it in the form. Our website host and form service may also log technical data such as your IP address for security and operation.

3. Why we use it

• To tell you when 1000 Salama launches in your area
• To contact doctors and clinics about early access
• To understand which cities and specialties are most interested, so we can plan the launch

We will not use your data for any other purpose without asking for your consent again, and we will never sell it.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of the explicit consent you give by ticking the consent box. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing does not affect processing that happened before.

5. Who we share it with

We share your data only with service providers acting on our behalf to run the waitlist:

• A form service
• A website hosting service
• Email services

We do not share your data with clinics or anyone else for marketing.

6. Processing outside Egypt

These providers run on servers outside Egypt, so your data is processed outside Egypt. We only use established providers with recognised security practices, and we collect as little data as possible.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data until we have told you about the launch in your area, and for no longer than 12 months from the date you signed up, or until you ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent, whichever comes first. We then delete it from our records.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Know what data we hold about you, see it and get a copy
• Have it corrected or updated
• Have it deleted
• Withdraw your consent
• Object to or restrict processing
• Be told about any security breach affecting your data

To use any of these rights, email hello@1000salama.com and we will reply as soon as possible. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Centre.

9. Keeping your data safe

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection to the website (HTTPS) and limiting access to the founding team.

10. Children

The waitlist is for people aged 18 and over.

11. Cookies

This website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics tools. If that changes, we will update this notice before the change.

12. Changes to this notice

This is an interim version. We will update it once the company registration is complete and show the date of the latest version at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you first.

If the Arabic and English versions of this notice differ, the Arabic version applies.
